This month I’m working with Marjorie R. Asturias to build something new with WordPress. I’ll be sharing my work as I go on my blog, Substack, and here on LinkedIn.
I had worked out an idea initially to build a completely new experience, but it was turning into a spaghetti mess of Next.js, Astro, and decoupled (headless) WordPress.
Not only am I a part of #radicalspeedmonth with Automattic, but I’m privileged to be at our AI Enablement cohort in our beautiful NOHO space in NYC.
Why is this important?
The amazing David Bowman shared his radical speed month project, and it shifted my own project approach. We started collaborating on my goals with our product plan, and it helped steer me in a much better direction.
I started a new chat with Claude Code with my new ideology, and we landed with the most validating answer that spoke directly to my academic research persona:

Meeting in person to work on stuff, after only one day, has already been extremely rewarding. What a blessing!
